Happy Kona Adoption Anniversary Day!

EIGHT years ago, Chris and I drove to a farm down in Chariton, IA to pick up our little 8 pound boxer puppy.

We had been married exactly 8 months, and were excited to add to our family.

We came home with this little snookums.

Babies raising a "baby."  Seriously.  We were 24.

Little did this little puppy know all the...um...FUN...that she had to look forward to.

Though she is quick to get on my "last nerve," she has been a very loyal and patient family dog and we all love her.
