11 Years

​Another April 30th is here and I don’t have too many profound words. 

He spent 59 years with us all on earth and now 11 years with us in sunrays, music and our hearts.

Weekend Wrap-Up

​Hi all! We had a fun cousin-filled weekend!

Today was a chaotic biking/scooting and dinner time! 

Chris and I also worked on our screen porch- he is working on making some new screens and I washed the walls and floor and did a bit of a design refresh.

A Picture Update: HBD to Me!

​Hey all! I’m 44 today! Wild. 

I got my free birthday coffee, went to work, took the afternoon off, grabbed lunch outside and went on a walk before getting a massage. 

When I got home I opened some fun gifts. Later we went out to dinner and enjoyed the beautiful weather. 

Callie drew the seahorse for me. It was a little random (I have never had any connection to seahorses) but it is obviously so beautiful. So I looked up the symbolism of seahorses and now they are my favorite.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Hey all! ​Saturday was a pretty quiet and rainy day. 

Until these little crazies came over for dinner! 🤪

 This morning I took Maya to MOA at 8am for  teacher appreciation event at Nickelodeon Universe. She got me to go on 3 rides before tapping out, and then she went on three more on her own. She’s much braver than me! 

And then we went on a walk and out to lunch with Boom, Auntie Mari, Avery and Carter.

And of course, we have these little guys to finish off the pics. 

I can’t believe we are heading into the middle of April. This school year is flying!

Weekend Wrap-Up: Happy Birthday Lucy AND Happy Easter!

​Hi all! First up, it Lucy’s birthday today! 

We love you Lucy and hope you had a great day! 

On to the weekend…Maya and I helped at Auntie Mari and Uncle Josh’s new house yesterday. 

And then I signed up for a 10K in May! Eeeek! Getting back into running and yoga has really felt good. 

I had the house to myself last night, so I baked banana bread and started a new book. Also got the Easter baskets ready!

This morning we got ready for Easter.

We all went to church and got a family photo…sunshine and smiles! 

We went to Auntie Yoda and Uncle Craigles’ house for a birthday lunch! Callie almost tried a deviled egg…but not quite.

This afternoon, we had G-ma, Auntie Cat, Uncle Dan, Hanna, Mitchell, Isla and Olive over for an Easter breakfast for dinner. And an egg hunt! 

Now it’s time for the last quarter of the school year. We got this.

​Hello! It is somehow already Friday night. How did that happen? I have no pictures of the girls, once again, but plenty of the gerbils!

And my big event of the week was a solo overnight at a B&B in Stillwater. It was lovely!
