Blog Post By Chris:

Well as you can see we finally have transformed our decade basement into something respectable. It is pretty nice to have good looking carpet and some nice furniture in the basement. We have banned Big Dave from the new furniture, so he has to sit in a steel reinforced chair from now on. Also like Kati said we have spent all 4 days of this weekend cleaning up around the house. We just kept so much useless stuff that we started running out of room to keep all of it. For those of you that have seen our house very messy, you will need to come over and see the transformation.

Okay enough about the house, on to baby news. Our little girl has been kicking a lot more recently. Instead of little flutters there is definite kicking and punching going on. It was so strong tonight that we could see it on the outside of Kati's stomach. It was hard to see it with Kati laughing and breathing, but still pretty cool to see. I have also been reading a different blog lately. The Stecher family lives down in Iowa, and we met them last year during our trip on RAGBRAI. The Stecher's have two girls, Olivia and Hannah. Beth posts on her blog about different things her girls do during the day. It has been really funny reading all the things their girls do and say. The reason I talk about this is because it is really interesting to see how kids change every single day. I am really looking forward to learning everything about our girl and seeing her change everyday.
