Favorite-Things-Phone-Dump Friday

Happy Friday once again!

What a weird and crazy week it was.  It started out being something like -30 degrees for two days and now it is +30 degrees.

As for the girls...Maya is still trying to figure out sleeping.  I should say, that we are trying to get her to figure out sleeping independently while staying asleep for longer stretches of time.  You'll know what I mean when you see the bags under my eyes.  Haha.  She was pretty cranky on and off this week, and especially for Boom today, so my new theory is maybe we aren't feeding her enough milk.  We're going to spend the weekend nursing as usual, plus adding some bottles to see if that makes a difference.  Her cold seems to finally be going away, and hopefully that will help too.  But those darn teeth are going to stay a problem for a very long time, I have a feeling.  Despite the crankiness she had some really fun and happy moments too, as you'll see from the pictures.

Callie.  Callie Callie Callie.  She is still trying to figure out pooping on the potty and that is all I'll say about it because I'm tired of thinking about and talking about poop.  Otherwise she can be exceedingly charming and wonderful at times, and ridiculously attitude-y and stubborn at other times.  Such is life with a 4-year-old, right?

On to my favorite things...

I had 3 extra days home this week with my girls.  The first two were on Monday and Tuesday because of the cold.

Favorite Thing #1: These silly girls

Favorite Thing #2: Increasing independence- look at
her name!  And one morning she disappeared and got
herself completely dressed.

Favorite Thing #3: Extra cuddle time

Favorite Thing #4: What happens when Callie gets too close...
Maya gets revenge.

Favorite Thing #5: VERY soupy rice cereal was better received.

Favorite Thing #6: Pictures from Pa

Favorite Thing #7: My parents hosted a MN Orchestra Musicians fundraiser at their
condo.  It was an amazing night of music and hobnobbing.  I even got to chat with
one of the percussionists from the MN Orchestra.  So cool.
Favorite Thing #8: A baby who can't stop playing with (and chewing on) her newly
discovered feet.

Favorite Thing #9: Thursday with my girls- including a trip to Caribou and
a very exciting car wash.

Favorite Thing #10: Pictures from Boom

Favorite Thing #11: It was warm enough to take Kona for a walk tonight!
Hooray for double digit temps!  Have a great weekend!
