First of all, this girl is now only one month away from turning 4!!
She is filled with shenanigans and sweetness and snacks (her favorite are tortilla chips). And Lord help us if she is tired (see post below). But holy moly she is my baby girl and I love watching her independence grow, as my need for a 4:00 cocktail also grows.
Anyway.
We had another busy week, including four more days of swimming lessons. So here is another video of highlights. Sorry it is almost 5 minutes long.

When we got home, there was a surprise package in the mail for Callie and Maya. What a fun and creative gift/request!

Thanks Dan and Hanna! The girls are VERY excited (despite Maya's attitude, she was tired...see beginning of post).
Have a lovely weekend! I have my 6th race tomorrow morning. I actually have a few races coming up in the next month. Tomorrow is a 10K, a 5K next Saturday 7/1, a 15K on Saturday 7/15, and my half marathon on Saturday 7/29! The next month will be training intensive for sure.
Have a great weekend.
The girls really had fun with their lessons and being able to swim afterwards with friends in the other pool. So we signed up for another 2 week session in August!
After the pool on Monday, we headed downtown to hang out with Boom, Lucy, and Auntie Yoda.
Our friends Emily, Vera, Hattie, and Elsie joined us at the pool on Tuesday.
And Tuesday...you guys...Maya was SO crabby. Like unbelievably so. Guess who ended up taking a 1.5 hour nap that afternoon?!?
And it made a major difference in her attitude the rest of the week! Callie had Chemistry Camp all week and loved it. The girls played a lot of dress up. And I got in some early morning runs.
We went downtown again today for some more Lucy time. Maya was at preschool all day, so Callie got some quality reading time with her.
As you can probably tell, she made Lucy her own Alphabet book and they are just so cute together.
And I had fun making funny faces with Lucy!
And we just had a fun time playing.
