Weekend Wrap-Up

Another HOT weekend has come and gone.  It was a fun one!

On Saturday morning the girls and neighbor boys had a serious toad catching operation happening.  They caught 7 of them in a window well in our back yard.  And a few of them were kind of big!  They were all set free when they were done.

For the 4th of July, we had another backyard BBQ, but it moved from our deck to the shady part of our lawn to accommodate our family...Boom, Auntie Yoda, Uncle Craigles, Lucy, Mila, G-ma, Pa, and Auntie Cat came over to hang out.  Maya and Lucy has SO much fun playing together in the pools.


Lucy loves chips and salsa (and cupcakes!) and Chris made Buffalo Chicken dip and plated it so nicely.

This morning I woke up at 6am to run 6 miles and saw SO MANY SUNRAYS. Here's a screenshot of my photo roll after my run.  

Callie slept over at Boom's house last night, and had so much fun playing, eating yummy breakfast and reading on her deck this morning. 

This afternoon Dan, Hanna, Mitchell and Shambles came over for a game day!  We played the Switch (both Just Dance and Mario Kart), Telestrations, and Apples to Apples.

And Mitchell had fun playing with the dogs!

He also played Apples to Apples with us.

It was a nice, relaxing day.  Hope everyone was able to have a safe and healthy 4th and stay cool!
