Lessons from Day #1

So our first day of school with kids was today and I learned or re-learned a few things.

1) Watching the itty-bitty kindergartners come in this morning (some looking terrified) made me already start dreading this day 5 years from now. Seriously.

2) My feet were very much out of the routine of wearing normal (uncomfortable) shoes. I miss flip flops already.

3) No matter how much I missed my baby's smiles, I was REALLY glad to see the students' smiles.

4) My co-workers are awesome...we're really more like a work family.

5) I am thankful to have this little punkin head to come home to.
