And just like that, spring break is over. It went so fast!
We had a fun weekend. As I said on my last blog, the girls had a sleepover with G-ma and Pa on Friday night. They had fun swimming at the Y and playing.
And Chris and I got out for a dinner date. The restaurant we went to was right by a hotel that was hosting an Anime convention. The restaurant had huge windows and we watched a constant stream of people in crazy costumes walking by. Chris started out facing me and not the window trying to stealthily look in his phone. But then he ended up sitting next to me so we could both people watch easily.
On Saturday we met Hanna and Shambles for a walk at Centennial Lakes.
Sydney and Kylie slept over at our house on Saturday night. We went to the park and then had popsicles after dinner!
Chris had all girls on his own this morning because I had my 3rd race! It was just a 5K on the U campus that ended up on the football field. I finished in 28:41 and feel pretty good about that. It is a few minutes faster than my January 5K, but it was definitely a less hilly course.
After the race I walked back to my mom's, and the we walked to the grocery store, so I was over 17,000 steps by 10:30am.
Then, we got to go see the baby!! (Well, Maya stayed with Boom because she has a cold).
Lucy was wearing one of Maya's old onesies, so I had to find a picture with her wearing it and do a side-by-side!
Can you tell who is who?!?
Tonight we had some fun with Snapchat.
And Chris got Callie quasi- interested in watching the Masters.
My favorite Callie quotes:
"I could putt better than him!"
-and-
"Why are you forcing me to watch?"
-and-
"I can't snuggle with you because I want to watch the end. Dad won't tell me who wins unless I watch."
He hasn't quite convinced her that golf is her future... but he is clearly making progress.
And then Sergio Garcia won on a playoff hole and I got my snuggle time.
Back to reality for me tomorrow, while Callie now starts spring break!
