12 Weeks Old!!!!

Wow...we have a 12 week old baby! She's fantastic and we couldn't be more blessed. She gets bigger, stronger and more "talkative" every day. Here are five things we've learned about Callie in the past 12 weeks:

1) She thinks that getting changed is hilarious. It never fails. You put her on the changing table and she breaks out in a huge smile.



2) She looks adorable with a baby mullet.



3) When you hold her facing you she'll look everywhere BUT you. She's just so curious about the world around her.



4) She is mesmerized by black and white. She has 2 books with black and white patterns and she just stares at them.



5) She is the sweetest, silliest, cutest, funniest, best best best baby ever!

On Sunday I tried doing a baby yoga DVD that I have (it also has pregnancy yoga on it, which I never did...oops). But the baby yoga was fun because I got to use Callie to help me during some of the exercises. Like this ab workout:



And since Sunday was so beautiful, we went for a family walk...the stroller is great! We went for a long walk yesterday too. I'm so glad that it is finally nice enough out to get out of winter hibernation mode.

Kona Hope is 4 years old today! We went over to the Gosselin's to celebrate.


She got her own DQ cake that she didn't get to eat- (but she did get to eat yummy treats from MorMor!)


Even though it was Kona's birthday, Callie Joy got lots of the attention. She was just so darn cute!

I'd love for it to be Friday afternoon right now. Going back to work has been tough- even though I have been lucky enough to get baby visits a few times! And if I don't get visits, I get lots of pictures texted to me. Thank goodness for grandparents and technology! The biggest issue is that I'm so tired. I do fine during the day, but by 7pm I'm fighting sleep. It is now 9:45 and I could have gone to bed 2 hours ago. But I wouldn't trade my time with Callie at 3:30am for anything! :)

We are so lucky to have such an adorable, smiley, mellow baby as evidenced by a couple pictures:





And of course, she continues to have some serious cheeks. :)

Fast Week!

Well it has been a fast and busy week! I survived being back at work...and more importantly Callie had a great first week with her various grandparent caretakers! What a lucky baby. :)

We've also been busy with lots of friends coming over. It is nice to still feel like we have somewhat of a social life, even if it occurs in our basement most of the time!

Here are a couple pictures from the week:





The princess shirt is in honor of her Auntie Laura who is running the Disney Princess Half Marathon at Disney World early tomorrow morning. Good luck Laura!!! :)

Speaking of running...I attempted my first run today since probably early June. The first 10 minutes felt great...then...it wasn't so fun! I made it 15 minutes, a little over a mile. But I started only being able to do that a few years ago and was eventually able to do a marathon, so I hope I can do that again!

10 Weeks Old!!!

I know that once we have a baby over a couple of months we should just start using months to say her age, but Tuesdays are always just a little special now. I can't help but keep track of the weeks! I have been at work now for 2 days and have survived. It has been really busy catching up so time has gone by fast. And today Chris brought her in while he had lunch with his lunch buddy so I got to see her in the middle of the day. :)

I forgot to mention in my last post that Callie and I went to a baby music class with my friend Kylie and her baby Calvin (and a bunch of other older babies and toddlers). It was a blast! Here is a picture they took while we were playing the castanets:
