I realize this probably isn't funny to anyone who isn't a teacher right now... In May... Towards the end of the school year, but with 6 weeks still remaining... During testing season... But it is funny to me.

Callie: Mom! I know what I want to be when I grow up?

Me: What?

Callie: A teacher! Because I want kids to listen to me.

Me: Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Good luck with that! (takes a sip of wine)

This is also ironic because I'd estimate the percentage of the little future teacher listening to her mother at any given time is about 7%.
