Weekend Wrap-Up

Hey all.  Happy Sunday!  

Yesterday it was SO COLD outside.  Luna and I were not very excited about that on our 6am walk.  The rest of the day was busy with getting things done at home and hanging out at Boom's with Lucy and Mila.

Later Callie enjoyed a protein shake out of my Santa wine glass and I enjoyed a margarita at my fave locale.

Today was a SUPER productive day of getting stuff done.  Though, looking at these pictures of Luna, you'd think we were lazy on the couch all day!

And then…there are these two. BFFs.

A Picture Update

Happy Friday!  Another busy week is in the books and we have made it to December.  So wild!  Here are some pictures from the week:

The Tuesday snow storm!  The girls and I all had early release days so we could get home before the roads got too bad.  Before leaving work, my work bestie and I were able to get in a quick lunch time walk.

That night the girls created their Christmas list...with some doozies.  And Maya took my phone to do some photography.

Pa came over for dinner (I made homemade cashew cream sauce/broccoli/pasta!) and we watched Lego Masters, which was all about dogs.  Luna cared more about playing with her toy.

Last night Luna and Maya were quite the pair.

And guess who's back????? THE ELVES!  Coo-Koo and Looney are back in Bloomington.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Hi everybody!  We had a pretty chill weekend.  Yesterday we were just hanging out at home until the girls went to Auntie Cat's house to hang out with her and go out to a bakery. I finished another puzzle, and then Chris and the girls went to take care of Murphy for a bit.

We decided this morning that we were READY to Christmas-ify our house!  So the decorations bins came out of the basement and we did our thing.

For lunch I made the Corn and Leek Bisque again, and it was just as delicious (and spicy!) the 2nd time.

After lunch we headed to get our tree!  This time from the TruValue just down the street.  They had free cider and the girls were all about it. We got it home and worked on getting it fluffed to decorate later.

Meanwhile Callie helped me with the Christmas pots!  All I had to do was put the basic greens in the back and she did all the other decorating herself.  

Then she got to go to a T-Wolves game with Auntie Yoda!

Tonight we decorated the tree.  We are ready for the holiday season!

A Picture Update: Happy Birthday Mitchell!!

First up, Mitchell Man is THREE today!! Happy birthday! We love you.

Wednesday at Boom’s house! Auntie Cat stopped by to visit too. 

Then…a sleepover at Boom's for Thanksgiving, which included early morning cupcake making.

Our first Thanksgiving was at Boom’s house.  There was kid chaos, pretty decorations, and yummy food.

And lots of play time, resting, and FaceTiming Baby Avery!

And then later in the afternoon we had meal #2 plus Mitchell’s birthday party at Uncle Dan and Auntie Hanna’s! The food and decorations were also awesome.

There was more kid chaos, funny birthday souvenirs, and sparkly slippers.

And lots of attitude at the kids table!

Callie brought her homemade cupcakes for Mitchell's birthday party.  They were a hit!

Then Mitchell opened his birthday presents!

The sweet little guy is fully of smiles and hugs.

Some more cousin playtime ended the very busy day!

Today we took it easy in the morning to recover.  Then we met the Dahlens at the nature center for nature watching and a hike.

Then G-ma came over for a bit (and Luna got her bat ears out!) and the sky at sunset was lovely.

We ended the day with some snuggling and Masked Singer!
