Happy Birthday Lucy Allyn!!!!

I don’t know how it happened, but my little goddaughter is ONE!!! It has a been a complete joy watching her grow this year!

And watching Chris with a baby again...❤️

But my most favorite part has been watching these cousin relationships grow. They are the cutest trio of trouble I have ever seen.

Weekend Wrap-Up: The Happy Easter Edition!!

Happy Easter everyone!

It is COLD this Easter, but the girls indulged me for 30 seconds this morning so we could get our picture in front of the door. 

I’ll get back to Easter shenanigans in a minute, but first...yesterday’s pictures. I would also call them shenanigans...with Auntie Hanna! Chris and I had an engagement party to go to for our friend Nik (no pics), so Hanna came over to hang with the girls. THEY. HAD. A. BLAST.

Earlier that day Callie helped me make our Fruity Peep Kababs.

And Chris downloaded a piano teaching app on the iPad. Callie is really liking it, but I can’t help but wonder what my Grandma (Cal and Maya’s GiGi) would say! She was a piano teacher for many many years. 

This morning the girls woke up and found their Easter Eggs  and Easter baskets.

We went to 9:00 church (it was a beautiful service...I love our church) and then headed to G-ma and Pa’s house for brunch, Easter baskets, and play time.

Later this afternoon we headed to Boom’s house for some more festivities (scavenger hunt, playtime, and lots of eating).

We had to get a picture of the three blue-eyes cuties, and it took a few tries.

But we got the money shot.

Happy Easter! We love you all and are so grateful for the love and support we get on a daily basis. 

A Picture Update

Guess who is now officially on SPRING BREAK?!? 

That would be me and I am READY FOR IT.

Callie had her spring break this week (Maya didntoo but we sent her to school on Tuesday for a release day). The girls had lots of fun!

Monday: hanging out with Boom, Lucy and Iris... Playing and doing Easter crafts!

Tuesday: Cal hung out with Boom while Maya was at school...more Easter crafts, library, and holding baby chicks!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Sunday!

We had a fun weekend. Except for yesterday morning when I made everyone clean in order to do a fun family activity later. The cleaning was brutal. But we made it. 

After dance we stopped by G-ma and Pa’s house  to play and watch the MA championship game. They won!

The fun family activity was meeting the Held’s at the Grove for swimming!

We took advantage of the beautiful sunset last night and sunrise this morning by getting in some Luna walks.

Today we went downtown to celebrate Auntie Yoda, Uncle Josh, and Chris’ birthdays. 

Later we played outside. It doesn’t feel like spring quite yet...but almost.

A Picture Update

Happy Friday!! Callie is now on spring break. I have one more week to go. We’ve had glimpses of spring but it sounds like snow is maybe coming our way again! I hope not.

This was a fun week. Maya hung out with Boom, Lucy, Iris, and even Auntie Mari on Monday!

We celebrated Chris’ birthday by giving him a cereal lover’s box (he eats more cereal than anyone else I know...and his daughters do too)...and then dinner and dessert with G-ma and Pa and Luna.

On Wednesday Maya hung out with G-ma and then we went downtown.

Maya had picture day on Thursday and G-ma got her hair all pretty. Later she had fun scootering around.

Callie had a concert at school on Thursday night. I didn’t get any good videos and only a couple pictures. But trust me, it was ADORABLE.

Tonight I got Callie reading during dinner. She has been super into graphic novels and pretty anti chapter books lately. But her teacher gave her this book, along with a comprehension packet to complete for some challenge work, and she is into it!
