Weekend Wrap-Up

This weekend was SO. MUCH. BETTER. than last weekend in terms of toddler crabbiness.  Thank goodness!  We had a great few days.

Friday night we had dinner at the condo to finally catch up with my parents a little.  We heard some Spain stories, but haven't seen the pictures yet since we'd rather wait for my dad to go through the THOUSANDS, pick the good ones, organize them, etc.  :)

Saturday morning was spent at the Renaissance Festival.  My cousin Andy and his wife Beth sing the "Elizabethan Singers", so we got to see them perform twice.  Callie also got to ride a "butterfly" and an actual pony!

Mmmm...Spinach Pie!
Because we were family members of a couple of the singers, Dad and I got picked on to "perform" with them.

Thanks Andy
Saturday night was Mommy/Toddler night.  We did some errands, ate some pasta for dinner, and walked (like rockstars) to the park.
We also had a little dance party:

This video shows that, over the past few months, my mom has gone from MorMor to Boom.  So, my mom has come to terms with it, and will now be referred to as Boom.

This morning was my 10 Mile race. I ran with my friend Jennifer.  It was hard.  I'm not too sad to be retiring my long-distance-running-shoes for awhile.  At least the rest of the fall and winter.  But my parents were awesome and managed to see me 4 or 5 times.
This afternoon was just spent at home watching the Vikings be terrible play and kissing Kona.

Oh- and helping Daddy with his exercises (I can't remember if we have updated this but he does not need surgery.  Woohoo!  He has to do 6 weeks of physical therapy and then will meet with his surgeon to see how it is going).

Tonight Callie hung out with Grandma and Grandpa while we went the the first Lynx Championship game!!!!  THEY WON!!!!!
So after a busy busy weekend I'm ready for my bed...another busy week starts in the morning.
