Weekend Wrap-Up
Hello! Happy Sunday. Here’s a taste of our weekend activities:

A walk around Centennial Lakes (more like constant fighting) and dinner with Boom!

A foggy morning run is my favorite.

Have a lovely week!
Catching toads! Somehow they are both all about touching all the slimy things.

Fighting (ALL DAY), watching In the Heights (again!), getting Luna a brand new dog tag, and Chris met a bird at Lunds (?!?).

A Picture Update: Summer ‘21 Week 4
Tuesday- the girls got their very own library cards with G-ma!

It just so happened that Sylvia was in town at her Grandma's house, so we met them for coffee/donuts/ice cream and then did a nature walk and played at a park.

After ordering lunch, Maya and I headed to an antique store to wait for our food to be ready. She loved looking at all of the old toys and doo-dads. Then we ate lunch down by the river.

After that we headed to Lake Byllesby and played at a different park and on the beach. It was only 63 degrees, so it was way too chilly for swimming...but Maya had fun regardless. She always does!

Then it was back to the original park to wait for Callie. She had a great time, but didn't eat much for lunch (the options were chicken salad or tuna salad wraps, a bit out of her peanut butter and jelly and/or cheeseless pepperoni pizza wheelhouse) so we stopped for a hot dog and ice cream on the way home!

Thursday- this girl LOVES shoe shopping!

And this girl LOVES messing with me when I'm trying to take a nap.

The girls played with the neighbor boys most of the day and I caught the biker gang in action.

Friday- the girls had fun with Boom at the MN Historical Society and out and about downtown.

On a sad note: We learned this week that Chris' cousin Devyn (back row second from left) passed away on Tuesday. He was always such a fun, sweet, kind and charismatic guy, and I know this special group of cousins, and everyone else in our family, will miss him a lot.

Take care of yourselves this weekend.
Wednesday- Callie did a day canoe trip on the Cannon River with a church group. Maya and I dropped her off at a park in Cannon Falls and they had paddle stroke and canoe orientation. So Maya and I headed off to explore Cannon Falls!

Weekend Wrap-Up
Happy Monday! Whew! What a weekend! It was busy an HOT, but a lot of fun. Here's the rundown...
Meanwhile, I went for an early morning run to beat the heat and Callie and I had fun with Snapchat. Then after we picked Maya up, the girls went to Auntie Cat's to help clean her canoe again and play on this neighborhood obstacle course.
On Saturday evening we went to Summer Fete with G-ma, Pa, Uncle Dan, Auntie Hanna, Mitchell and Isla. The girls ate some
It was nice to just sit on the grass and hang out, people watch, etc!
These series of pictures may or may not be why my children call me a "BABY HOG." I mean, come on. I just can't help myself.
On Sunday (the fourth!) we had a quiet morning/afternoon inside. Maya played Lego and Pa came over to help Callie restring my guitar and teach her a couple chords.
I found a recipe for American Flag Taco Dip, and as you can see from the recipe picture on top and my creation below, nearly nailed it...ha!
Auntie Yoda, Uncle Craigles, Lucy, Mila and Boom came over for a 4th of July DECK DINNER and the girls had a blast playing in the pool and on the water slide.
We had yummy snacks and drinks!
After dinner Dan and Hanna stopped over briefly, so I was able to get a pictures of the girls with all four cousins! As you can tell, a few of them were very excited. HAHAHA. But I was grateful they indulged my desire for a picture.
That brings us to today! We went over to the Held's house to see them and the Stolle family, who are in town from Washington! They had a big bounce house set up, and eventually they got out a bunch of water balloons because it was HOT.
Despite having 7 kids running around ages 11 down to 2, the adults were able to enjoy time catching up!

Red, White, & Cute Part 12!
Happy 4th of July!!
As usual, I love traveling back in time, starting way back when we had a 6-month-old baby…

…and then two little ones…

…which gets us to 2021!!!

We hope everyone has an awesome, safe and happy 4th! I’ll be back tomorrow night for the weekend wrap-up.
