Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Sunday! We had a nice weekend. Yesterday our big event was going to our friends Nik and Danielle’s house party. We ate delicious food, hung out in the lovely fall weather, and the girls got to press apples into cider!

Today Luna and I enjoyed the pretty early morning.

Then Maya and I went to Boom’s house for flute playing, making soup and watching the Lynx game. 

Have a good week! It’s MEA, so we finally get a couple days off later this week! 

A Picture Update

Happy Friday everybody!! 

My voice is hoarse this week from screaming through two different Lynx games…the first one was on Tuesday night at Target Center when then Lynx won game 5 of the semi-finals and clinched their playoff spot against New York! Chris and Cal sat courtside (no photos) and Maya and I sat a few rows up (crazy photos by this 11yo). 

They played game 1 of the finals on Thursday night in New York and it was BANANAS. They were down by 18 in the first half and calmly clawed their way back to an overtime win. There was so much screaming happening in our basement at 9:30pm last night! 

And some flute playing. And our front tree is finally turning. 

Tonight I met my friend for happy hour sushi and then we met Pa, Max, and Auntie Cat for a lovely picnic at Normandale lake! We stayed until dark and walked back to the cars using phone flashlights.

Almost didn’t make it (GO LYNX!!!!) but remembered at 10pm that it is Tuesday.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Sunday everybody!  We had a fun weekend.  

Yesterday I made my favorite corn and leek bisque and Maya came on a bike ride while Luna and I walked. Notice she's still in shorts and a t-shirt in October?  Ridiculous!

Later, G-ma came over to hang out with all four Gosselin Geese (and a Luna) while Dan, Hanna, Chris and I went out to dinner and then to the first half of the Gopher football game!  Chris and I then went to the airport to pick up Boom, who had been in Japan for the past 2.5 weeks!!!!

This morning Maya and I met up with Uncle Dan, Auntie Hanna, Mitchell and Isla for some fall fun at Brand Farms.  There were hay rides...

...apple cannons...

...food truck lunch and barrel rolls...

...a sunflower maze...

...and finally some apple picking!

This afternoon we went to Boom's house for the Lynx game and playtime.  The girls were happy to see Boom too!

A Picture Update

Hey all! Happy Friday! 

Not much to report from this week. Jenna and I went out for sushi and then to the Lynx game on Tuesday night! We both had on our Kamala Chucks.

And I had the day off today so I did a run/walk at 9 mile creek after dropping the girls off and then hung out with my shadow.
