Happy Monday everybody! We had an awesome long weekend in DENVER! We flew out Friday afternoon, and got to see (kiss) a volunteer dog while we were waiting.

We got to Auntie Mari, Uncle Josh and Avery’s house by 5pm! We had a girls’ night playing and ordering in dinner, while Chris, Josh and Uncle John went to the Wolves/Nuggets bball game.

On Saturday morning I woke up early and walked to get some treats from a nearby bakery.

Then we watched some girls basketball!

We ended the fun day with dinner at John and Jenny’s house with Great Margie. We did a wine tasting (Chris was our sommelier) and made homemade pizza!

The Easter Bunny came before bed, and the girls had fun waking up Sunday morning to see their big bunnies and treats.

We went to 9am church, and then they obliged me for a family photo.

We had a relaxed morning and FaceTimed Luna (and G-ma)!

It was a beautiful day so we headed outside to play and do bubbles.

John, Jenny and Margie came over in the afternoon and the girls did an Easter Egg hunt!

Then we FaceTimed with Boom, Auntie Yoda, Lucy and Mila and had an early dinner.

After dinner Mari put Avery in the dress I brought for her…one I wore as a little kid!

Then there was some more Oculus time with the fam.

It was a great Easter Day!
This morning we got up early to say goodbye to Josh, Mari and Avery, pack up and head out to spend the day in Boulder!

Our first stop on the way was a Butterfly Pavilion, where I was the only one brave enough to hold Rosie the tarantula.

Then we headed to Eldorado Canyon State Park for a beautiful three-quarters-of-a-mile snowy mountain hike.

Speaking of familiarly named places, our last stop in Boulder was at the Henderson building on campus, which houses a natural history museum.

We packed a lot into a few short days. If you want to see about 6 minutes of our shenanigans on video,

We are so grateful for a wonderful trip to end the girls’ spring break and start mine out with a bang!

Have a great week!
