Leap Day Baby Palooza!

Happy FEBRUARY 29th, y’all! I wanted to commemorate the date on the calendar, and figured I'd do a post about the freaking adorable BABY PALOOZA we had at our house this evening!

I have wanted to get our families together for awhile now that the two new babies are in the world, so today was the day!  Boom, Auntie Yoda, Uncle Craigles, Lucy, Mila, G-ma, Pa, Uncle Dan, Auntie Hanna, Mitchell, and Auntie Cat all came over this afternoon for play time and pizza.  It. Was. A. BLAST.

Mostly we enjoyed passing the babies around.  It made my heart so happy.

The two babies together were SO STINKING CUTE.

The big girls had fun too!

And I got to hold both my little M&Ms together and IT WAS THE BEST.

I'll leave you with some baby squirming that is THE CUTEST.  Click here to enjoy!

A Picture Update

Guys, I survived this week! Chris was on a golf trip to AZ, AND G-ma and Pa (who usually have Luna during the week) were also on a fun trip to AZ. So while they were all enjoying the sunshine, I was solo parenting, working full time, and dealing with a dog who was kenneled much more than usual and A COMPLETE NAUGHTY PSYCHO.

But we made it and everyone is home (or will be very soon)!

Here's Luna looking deceptively docile at home, as well as hyper vigilant in the car when I picked up the girls.  Also, we FaceTimed with Chris and he put up funny images, and then snuggled on the bed watching Master Chef Junior.

The girls are really getting in to competition shows, which are super fun to watch as a family.  We have been watching Lego Masters together the past few weeks (and HIGHLY recommend...super fun and funny).  And this week as a survival tactic for me, we started watching Master Chef Junior, a cooking show featuring kids 9-12 years old.

Let me tell you, my picky eaters are ALL ABOUT seeing all the crazy, complicated and weird dishes that the kids make on this show.  The one we watched tonight had the kid contestants making Beef Wellington, and it was HILARIOUS to hear Callie and Maya "critiquing" the sear of the beef.  As if they had any idea what in the world they were talking about...

Anyway...I'm very much looking forward to a normal weekend.

I’ll leave you with pictures of the sunset Chris sent me from the plane.

Have a great weekend!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Sunday! We had a great weekend with family.

Yesterday after dance, we headed downtown. Boom, Auntie Mari, Callie and I went out for a walk and ran into Lucy and Uncle Craigles! Then Mari, Cal and I walked down to the Stone Arch Bridge and came back to play games.

Then later Amy, Peter, Bob, and Barbara all came over for dinner. And of course there was lots of Baby Mila snuggling!

And her baby faces are the best!

It was so fun having Auntie Mari home!

Today after lunch the girls headed to Auntie Cat’s for a fun afternoon! They went on a nature walk and to a bakery and played at her house. The girls had a blast!

While they were gone Chris and I did exciting things like hitting golf balls and grocery shopping (him), napping and laundry (me) and then we also took Luna on her own adventure walk.

Have a great week!

A Picture Update

Happy Friday! Despite it being a short week it felt like a LOOOOOOOOOOONG week. But we made it to Friday!  And HOORAY! Auntie Mari is here for the weekend!

Let’s see...some random pics from this week...

On Wednesday Auntie Hanna and Baby Mitchell came over to hang out.

And after Punch Pizza with Auntie Mari and Boom tonight, we treated ourselves to some DQ!

Have a great weekend!
