Happy Easter!!
It has been a beautiful weekend and I’m filled with gratitude.
It is always fun to take a walk back through time...

More on Easter in a bit...but first yesterday! I did a slow, hot and painful 10 miler and survived. I ran into hundreds of people doing an Easter Egg hunt at one point, but it was a lovely morning for a run.

After dance, the girls went over to Auntie Cat’s house! They played and walked around the neighborhood picking up sticks. So much lovely sunshine.

Last night Laura and I went to see a production of Sweeney Todd. Mom was the flutist/piccolo player in the pit orchestra! Here’s a picture one of Mom’s friends took of her in the pit. It was an amazing show!

When I got back last night, I still had to do 11:30pm Easter Bunny duty.

The girls were up bright and early this morning to check out their baskets

And you know that sweet picture I took and posted at the top of the blog? Some were on the struggle bus while I was trying to take that picture, so my camera roll on my phone from this morning is FULL of outtakes.

Then we met Auntie Yoda, Uncle Craigles, and Lucy at church.

And went back to Boom’s house for Easter Egg hunts, fun presents, and a yummy brunch.

Then we headed to G-ma and Pa’s house to hang out with them, Auntie Cat and Auntie Hanna...and more Easter fun!

And THEN we headed to Aunt Karen and Uncle Gus’ house to see all the Gosselin relatives. There were 7 of Nana and Papa’s great-grandkids there, and a number of Gosselin cousins!

Whew! What a day! For video of all the Easter Egg/Basket hunts,

Happy Easter! Have a great week.
