Easter Bunny

My mom, Callie and I were at Southdale yesterday and I saw a sign that mentioned seeing the Easter Bunny (a sign that in my previous life I would have totally ignored). But since I have a baby now, it occurred to me that I didn't need to ignore the sign! Here is the picture:



Clearly at 3 months old she already knows that this bunny is NOT the reason for the season! She was definitely just humoring me. And a funny side note- when I brought her up to the bunny I must have looked a little leery because all of a sudden from inside the bunny costume I hear, "It's okay, I'm a mama." Whew! In my head I was wondering if it was some 19 year old boy who didn't know how to hold a baby. :)

Happy Birthday HP!

Hugo Percy is 12 years old today! He doesn't have anything to do with Callie, but we set up this picture of the two of them together today. :)



Chris had the afternoon off, so we took a family trip to the dog park! We used the Baby Bjorn and had a great time in the beautiful weather!

Teething?

Well, lately we have a baby who drools through a couple of bibs a day, has been more crabby, and wants to chew on everything...all evidence points towards the fact that we now have a baby that may be teething! Thanks to the internet I found out it can start as early as 3 months, so here we go! I dug out the teethers that we have so we've started the teether try-outs to see which is Callie's favorite. So far, the squeaky giraffe an the Taggies doll are in the lead!





The green one didn't seem to make the cut...



But above all else, I think she's just excited to have new toys!

New Tricks!

I co-hosted a baby shower today with my small group girlfriends for another small group friend. They threw me a shower 3 months ago and we kept saying how crazy it was that it was 3 whole months ago (and I have a 3 month baby to prove it!) Callie did a really good job at the shower. There was a 3 WEEK old baby there, as well as a 3 YEAR old! It was kind of fun to look at them and see where we have been and where we're headed!

Anyway...after the shower Callie was entertaining Bethany, Lara and me. Actually, it was more like they were entertaining her! She was adorable! She learned some new tricks.
