Definitely missed that it was Tuesday yesterday! So here we have a Timehop from the start of the pandemic to now. Sisterly love at its finest!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Hello! We had a lovely weekend. The big event of yesterday for me and Chris was an actual gosh darn DOUBLE DATE. Out in the world! We met our friends Jenna and Andy out for a double birthday dinner (Jenna and Chris are 1 year minus 4 days apart!) at a sushi place, and then went to WAITRESS!! (Yes, again…my 4th time and Chris’ 3rd!). I did not order sushi, however.  I got vegetable tempura.  Which just ended up looking like a fried salad.  But it was delicious.

The girls slept over at Boom’s house and had a great time, as per usual!

Then we enjoyed time outside. 

Come on spring!!

Cal and I watched the first part of the new West Side Story tonight.

I told her Bops played a Jet in a production A LONG time ago and we both giggled.

And then, there was a scene at the school dance where there’s a shot of a teacher on the edge bopping up and down and looking like she wants to dance. I told Cal that was me at the high school dances I chaperoned (except actually I definitely did some dance as a chaperone).

She said “MOM. I’d be SO EMBARRASSED watching you dance.” 

Challenge Accepted. 

For being a 98% introvert, dancing at weddings, etc. is my 2% extroversion.

Gotta find a wedding to go to or somehow infiltrate a future school dance…🤣

A Picture Update

Happy Friday! Another busy week has come and gone…

We got a bit of warmer weather, I went in to a restaurant for the first time in months, and Maya made an art project.

And then some hair changes…!! The girls were home today and decided to dye Cal’s hair purple (I had bought her hair dye spray for her musical…didn’t expect her to use it yet and then I got this picture texted to me…ha!), and Maya got a haircut.
