Sleepy time?...No Fun time.

Callie enjoys having "fun time" when she's supposed to have "sleepy time." Normally when it is 8:00pm and Chris wraps her like a burrito and has her on his lap to go to sleep, she starts smiling and cooing and being really cute. And it is hard to resist the ridiculous cuteness. So last night I thought I'd give the mobile a try to make her fall asleep.

3 Months Old!!!

Callie Joy is officially 3 months old today- March 22nd.

Here she is practicing her "ohs".



We have a future sports aficionado on our hands...this afternoon I was in the basement and Callie was screaming bloody murder after just eating. She was super tired from the busy weekend but was more interested in screaming than sleeping. So after a few minutes of the screaming I turned the TV on to basketball. She calmed down almost immediately and watched the game and got happy. Later, when Chris was home and was holding her, she started screaming again. So he turned her towards basketball and once again...enthralled in the game! It was so funny! (Granted, it could have been toilet paper commercials and she would have been fascinated. But it is fun to think she favors basketball like her Auntie Mari and Bops, whose birth gift to her was a little pink basketball and hoop!).

3 days until spring break and a whole 10 days with my baby! I can't wait!!!!

Baptism!

God Bless Callie Joy!

Callie was baptized today at Bethlehem and it was a fantastic day! She did such a good job during the baptism, and then slept through the rest of the church service. So for we're 3 for 3 when it comes to making it through church services with no problems. :)

We had a great lunch with family and friends after the service. Thanks to everyone who was there to celebrate with us! We're very blessed to have such a loving and supportive group of people in our lives and in Callie's life.

For once I wasn't in charge of the camera, so I don't have any pictures yet! But I'll post some as soon as I get them from other people. Special thanks to Nik Wachter for being the professional photographer. :)

Happy Birthday...

...Daddy, Uncle Dan AND Auntie Laura! It's a big day!

Callie got to see all of her birthday peeps today. We had fun going out to eat at Old Spaghetti Factory with the Gosselins and the Hendersons. Then we had cake back at the Hendersons and Callie was passed around from person to person and was quite the little entertainer!





It was a fun start to what is going to be a VERY fun and busy weekend!

March is a busy birthday month (just wait until tomorrow)!

I can't believe I have been back at work for almost 3 weeks now. I have a feeling the spring is just going to FLY by! One week until spring break! I'm SO excited to have another week home with my baby. :)
