Yesterday morning the girls woke up to open day 2 of their Advent Calendar.
We went to Home Depot for their kids event. Check out the video later for Maya pounding in those nails!
And then there was dance class. Maya had to be bribed with a cookie to participate. She likes having Callie help with her class, though. As you can see from her actions while waiting for mat time.
Both girls love to do bridges.
After dance we met Boom and Iris for a walk. We also did some stick spelling.
Later on in the afternoon, I attempted to put up some Christmas lights on our house for the first time since we lived there. They aren’t super fancy or flashy, but they twinkle! The girls had fun playing outside in the warmish weather.
This morning I went to hear Boom play in the handbell choir (see video below), and then we met Nana, G-ma and Hanna for the Bachman’s house tour. Auntie Cat, Pa, Chris, Maya, and Papa met us later for lunch!
This afternoon was spent cleaning and starting a gingerbread house village project, which was not finished by anymeans (again, see video).
