Timehop Tuesday

You guys. I love all the babies. I can’t stop!  This time I put together allllllllllllll the Gosselin/Henderson cousins! I found pics of each of them from when they were between 4-6 weeks old!

Weekend Wrap-Up: The Avery Edition!

Hey all! It was a fun and different weekend for me…I flew to Denver to meet Avery and hang out with Mari and Laura!!! Josh was in a wedding in Michigan, so it was the perfect weekend for the sisters to swoop in and hang out!

My flight left at 6:40pm Friday night, so I had a classy dinner at the airport and made it to Denver by about 8:45pm for the first of many baby snuggles!!

Meanwhile…Chris sent me this pic of the girls before bed. Can you find any humans or animals on this bed? 

On Saturday morning I woke up early (of course) and walked Rocky. Then…it was time for more snuggles!

I couldn’t stop taking pictures of all her cute faces, so this is a snippet of my photo stream. 

I mean…COME ON. 🥰

We went out to get bagels for lunch and then to a park for a nice walk. Then it was back to the house for a baby bath and both adult and baby nap time. 

Later in the afternoon we FaceTimed Boom and the girls, and Avery was awake and adorable for auntie time.

Then we headed to John and Jenny’s house. It was a full car!


We ordered delicious takeout and had a lovely meal out in their backyard. 

This morning Avery slept late but Laura and I stole her from her bed and enjoyed some bundled up snuggles so Mari could sleep in. 

Then after she woke up and ate, we had play time! And as you can see…she went through 3 outfits by 9am. Ha!

Laura left late morning, so I was on babysitting duty while Mari was able to go do some errands. It was a really hard job…Mari and I ordered lunch and hung out, and then went on a walk. 

The last hour or so Avery played on her playmat!

They brought me to the airport late afternoon. It was such a lovely weekend and so great to be together. ❤️

A Picture Update

TGIF!!!  This week went by SO SLOWLY but also flew by in a blur.  The big event was on Tuesday, when Luna met the Dahlen's new puppy Murphy!

It went well overall...it will take a few tries for anyone to trust either puppy enough to let them go free.  Ha.

We also enjoyed when the weather finally felt like a bit of fall...and then Luna's cute face.  As usual.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Hey all.  The weekend zipped by, as it usually does.  Yesterday Maya came on Luna's golden hour walk with me in the morning.  And then I got my 2nd booster shot, the girls cleaned up the house in order to earn Crumbl cookies, and we spent time outside.  

I have gotten weird reactions to the Covid vaccines and other booster each time...and it happened again like clockwork 12 hours after my shot.  My nose and my fingers got SUPER cold, while the rest of my body was hot!  It happened last night around 10pm, so thankfully it was while I was sleeping (or trying to) and not during the day.  It was very strange, but I'm grateful to get another boost of immunity. 

This morning we met Auntie Yoda, Uncle Craigles, Lucy and Mila for brunch and then a fun walk around Centennial Lakes.

We also saw Pa for a bit this afternoon, Maya had gymnastics, and I met Cat and Hanna for a nice walk around the lake...but unfortunately I didn't get pictures of any of those things!

What I (and Maya) did get pictures of (in the least flattering angle possible) was our journey to ordering a new bed!  We will be getting a brand spanking new Sleep Number bed in early November and I could not be more excited.  I think it will improve my terrible sleep hygiene by a million percent.  Maya had fun testing out all the beds too.

Weekend Wrap-Up: Happy Birthday Boom!!

Yay! It’s Boom’s birthday today! 

We love you and hope you had an excellent day!

As for the weekend….we (I) was so tired from the first week of school that we didn't do a whole log.  On Friday night the Dahlen's came over for pizza and we wandered over to watch a bit of the football game near our house.  It was a bit rainy so we saw a rainbow and then the sky walking back was awesome!

This is the only pic I took yesterday.  We mostly did chores, he girls started back up with dance class, and then ended up in our yard in the late afternoon.

A full moon greeted me on my run this morning. And then we just took a whole lot of pictures of our cute and crazy doggy.

The first few weeks going back to work is really kicking my butt.  I know it will ease up, but I. AM. EXHAUSTED.  

So wish me luck with my first full 5 day week back this week!  Same for the girls!  All the regular stuff for them (trombone lessons, theater, confirmation/church stuff, dance, etc.) are back in full force this week too.

A Picture Update

TGIF everyone!  

While the girls had their first days of school last week, my first day of year 19 was on Tuesday.  It went well but I'm EXHAUSTED.  But grateful for a new school building and teacher friend BFFs!

I didn't take too many pictures this week.  But here are a couple of Luna and Maya being cute and crazy as usual.

And then there was dinner and playtime/color time with G-ma and a pretty evening sky.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Monday!  The long weekend flew by and we had a great time!  

We spent most of Saturday doing chores. Chris and Maya cleaned out the garage...the girls and I cleaned up in the house...I did SO MUCH LAUNDRY...etc.  Later the girls did a round of tie-dye with a kit Maya got for her birthday.

Then Uncle Dan, Auntie Hanna, Mitchell and Isla came over for dinner, playtime and s'mores on the fire!

There was lots of cousin chaos.  It was a blast!

On Sunday we FaceTimed with Baby Avery again (and Boom and Auntie Yoda)!  Callie and I did errands and stopped for Starbucks and then the girls and I met Jennifer and her kids at a park for a bit.

Then we had deck dinner round 2 with Boom, Auntie Yoda, Uncle Craigles, Lucy and Mila!  There was more cousin chaos, some baseball, ice cream and fun.

This morning was a pretty one for a quick run. 

We met Auntie Cat at the nature center for some nature walking and a hike, and then met Pa for lunch!
