Hello! Happy Sunday. We had a fun, productive and lazy weekend all wrapped up into two days (plus a bonus hour).
We hung out at home on Saturday morning and had some snuggle time before dance, and then the girls went over to Auntie Cat’s house. They had lots of fun play time and then she put them to work in her yard, which is amazing. 😃

While they were with Auntie Cat, we had our 4th (and final) wedding since June. Mari’s college roommate Kelsey got married! Mari was the matron of honor and looked lovely. In between the wedding and reception we went to a fun wine bar with Boom, Laura and Craig.

The reception was at the MN Zoo! It was in the aquarium part, and was super cool.

During the toasts (one of which Mari made) we played a game where we passed around this champagne flute filled with cash. Every time a speaker said either of the names of the bride and groom or the word Love, you had to pass the glass on to the next person. It made it around the table a LOT of times and guess who won the $12??? It also made the speeches way more fun to listen to. Thanks to Mari’s friend (and our table mate) Jeff for the idea.
He also was the photographer for one of my new favorite pictures: the Hendgosslindsharpe clan (minus the children).

This morning we actually got to enjoy the extra hour of sleep thanks to our stealthy changing of the clocks in the girls’ rooms at 10pm and their understanding they need to stay upstairs until 7am. We had another chill morning, went to church, and then finally got FLU SHOTS. And then they each got their preselected bribery item.

And as you can see, they chose to dress like twins today.
We ended the day with some games and a movie night, and now that it is November they decided it was appropriate enough to watch a Christmas movie. So we have now already watched Home Alone. Any bets on how many more times they’ll want to watch it this season? Such a classic. Maya and I were snuggling and then the pooch wanted to join in.

Also I’m feeling so accomplished...I already have a few Christmas presents AND our holiday cards ordered.
Also? I only have to work a little bit tomorrow and then have the whole rest of the day to myself.
Have a great week!
