My dad would have been 71 today. So many missed birthdays.
But the ones he had were so good. I’m grateful the girls got to share a a few of them with him.

Happy birthday Dad. We miss you lots.

Hi all-
It has been a pretty chill weekend: cousin time after Lucy & Mila’s dance recital, pretty early morning runs and porch yoga (with a visitor) and a porch dinner and playtime.

Have a great week! It’s the last week of the school year!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well…TGIF and I totally missed Timehop Tuesday this week. Here are the pics!
A day off:

Gerbil kisses:

And a sister date:

Have a lovely weekend! One. More. Week. Until. Summer.
Happy Memorial Day!
We had a nice weekend and continue to enjoy the summer weather. Hopefully maybe now it is here to stay!
Some scenes from an early morning long run:

Some relaxing (and a failed gerbil reconciliation, but we had gloves this time!):

A deck dinner, including Alex’s mom and sister:

And my one picture from today, my upside down view from a forward fold doing yoga on the porch:

Have a great week!
Hi all! TGIF!!
We had a busy week, where we enjoyed the outdoors, saw cousins, and got our piano tuned for the first time in over a decade!

Our piano is from my Grandma Henderson. The piano tuner was able to tell me it was made 1946! She taught piano lessons on it and I remember playing it whenever we would go to their house in Eau Claire. I’m so excited to get back into playing and even signed up for some piano lessons this summer to brush up my skills!
Have a great Memorial Day weekend. I’ll be back Monday night for the wrap-up.
Hi all!
It was a busy weekend! Yesterday I had my 10K race. It went well, all things considered. It was warm! My goal was to finish in under 1:15 and I did it in 1:12.
Thanks to my mom, Pa and Max, and my friend Adrea and her fam for coming to cheer me on!

Now I’m stepping up my training for the next 10K at the end of June.
After lunch yesterday Maya and I headed to the AAPI festival in Edina to see her friend perform in a Korean dance and drum group. It was awesome!

Today Luna spent time in my face and then we went to the Lynx game!

Callie spent the weekend going to Alex’s soccer games and Chris spent the weekend working on our porch and other various wood cutting activities.
Have a great week!
