A Picture Update

Once again, my picture update is pretty lame! This week was once again busy and flew by. 

I went to the college fair with my high schoolers, and Chris and the girls watched the Twins win. And Maya gave Luna lots of love, as usual.

The sky and clouds were pretty cool.

And we got the new school pictures back!

Timehop Tuesday

In honor of what was supposed to have been the Twin Cities Marathon this past weekend, I had dug back into my 2008 files to find some of my own marathon pictures to post to Instagram…as it has been FIFTEEN YEARS since my one and only full marathon race.

I never ended up posting them because the race was canceled and I felt bad…so instead, here we are at today’s Timehop, and we’re going back 15 years!

I still can’t really believe I did it, and I had the best support group a person could ask for!

Weekend Wrap-Up

The weekend FLEW by and here we are on Sunday night.  

Chris had a pretty fun weekend- he left on Thursday morning for a long weekend in Denver.  The major highlights (or the photos that I got) included pizza with Avery (and Nik, Auntie Mari, Uncle Josh, Uncle John and Aunt Jen!) and then a full day of mountain river fishing, where they caught a bunch of trout!

Meanwhile the girls and I held down the fort at the end of a full moon week.  We kept a pretty low profile yesterday.  I made broccoli cheddar soup even though it was 80+ degrees.  The girls also went with Auntie Cat to an apple orchard and her friends' farm!

Today our highlight was an afternoon with the Gosselin cousins!  There was Candyland and pillow fights and outside fun and more pillow fights.

Have a lovely week.  I can't believe how hot it is, and I feel SO bad for all the Twin Cities Marathon runners who trained so hard and weren't able to run today because of the stupid heat.  I love this weather in July...but by October I'm ready for SWEATSHIRT weather.

A Picture Update

Hey all! Happy Friday. We survived another crazy week, complete with lots of storms and rainy weather.

Today I went to work late so I could hang out with Maya this morning and then take her to the bus, which ended up not coming so I took her and her bus stop pals to school. 

Tonight we ordered pizza and watched Dancing With the Stars!

I haven’t done a video update for a long time, so click here for some videos that go all the way back to mid-August in Chicago up until now.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Welcome to the lamest weekend wrap-up in Babygoose history. 

These are the only pics from the weekend:

I got a Covid booster shot yesterday around 11:30am, and we just hung around home the rest of the day and today. The side effects felt a little worse this time so I basically didn’t sleep well and took naps today to makeup for it. Chris and Maya went for a bike ride this afternoon.

Hoping for an early bedtime tonight and feeling better in the morning!

A Picture Update

Happy Friday!! I don’t have many pics from this week. Our weekday evenings are busy, so I just don’t even think of it most of the time. Also my children have become less and less amenable to photos of any kind…

Monday- playing outside after school, Wednesday- dropping the girls off at church and then going for a run to the cemetery, Thursday- Luna's cute face
