Weekend Wrap-Up

Hey all!  Happy Sunday!  What a bizarre April weekend.  Of course, since it was April fools yesterday, I came up from my treadmill run to an April Fool's joke of a TP'd kitchen table. And Maya was up bright and early proud of her self for cleaning her room.

When I went to take Luna for our usual morning walk, THIS IS WHAT WE SAW. It was beautiful, but absolutely ridiculous to have 8+ inches of snow on April 1st.

Then we have Luna's cute face in glowing light.

Last night the girls worked on a choreographed dance together for over an hour.  They were getting along, having fun, and getting exercise, so I let them go much longer than their bedtime.

This morning we got to FaceTime Boom, Great Margie and Avery from Colorado!!!  Oh, and also Luna got to meet her cousin (?) Blue.  They were unimpressed with each other.

Later Maya, Luna and I were snuggling on the couch and making funny faces.

And then we had playtime and dinner with Uncle Dan, Mitchell, Isla and G-ma.

A Picture Update

Happy Friday!  WE MADE IT TO SPRING BREAK.

It was another long week...Chris got hit with some sort of bug so he was down for the count most of the week.  Thankfully he is good at masking up and washing his hands, so SO far, the girls and I are all fine.  And he's better today!  So that's good.

On Monday Callie and Luna snuggled and we Facetimed Mitchell and Isla. Adorable.

And for the rest of the week... a pretty sunrise, shopping with a teen always takes awhile (says Maya), Callie wished for spring by not wearing a coat when it was like 17 degrees one morning, and I made red coconut vegetable curry last night because I was just SO READY FOR BREAK.

This afternoon the girls and I battled the gross weather for dinner and a haircut.

And then popcorn and women’s basketball during a thunderstorm! 


Have a lovely weekend!  Looks like we may be getting another round of SNOW tonight...we are OVER IT.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Sunday!  It was a very ALADDIN weekend, with a little side of puke and fevers.

As I mentioned in my Friday post, Maya got taken out by a cold throughout the day on Thursday, so she and I couldn't go to Callie's show on Friday night.  Then she puked twice throughout the night Friday night and had a fever on Saturday morning...so Chris and I had to tag team the two Saturday shows.  It was a bummer to only see 2 out of the 4 performances, but that's just how it goes!

Anyway...yesterday morning was my last of 4 days in a row of doing Callie's hair curling for the show.  It is lovely, but VERY time consuming!  She has a lot of hair.

I met up with Boom, Auntie Yoda, Lucy, G-ma, Auntie Cat and Auntie Hanna for the afternoon show!  I snuck a few quick pics and a couple quick videos (CLICK HERE!) of the end of the show. It was SO FUN.

Then I went home for sick kiddo duty...she snuggled on the couch with Luna and watched a movie.

Chris headed back for the last show, and met up with Pa and the Dahlen's!

Callie had a cast party until 11pm last night, and was up bright and early (thankfully not early enough for my sunrise walk with Luna) by 8am this morning to show me the Aladdin Raffle Basket we won.

The rest of the day was all about rest and recovery!

A Picture Update

Ohmygoodness I don't know how we made it to Friday. This week has been EXHAUSTING.

And the big event of the week is Callie's musical performances...Aladdin Jr!  Opening night was last night.  It was ADORABLE, but Maya has a terrible cold so she was a mess, Callie was also just so tired after the first show that she was crabby, so there weren't too many good photo-ops.  But here's what I got...
