A Picture Update

Hi all. It has been a long week. The end of this school year is feeling a bit relentless. But we have 8 days left. We’ll make it. 

Not too many pics this week…

Today was so beautiful, so the girls enjoyed some sprinkler time (finally) and a little bball.

It’s a long weekend so I’ll be back on Monday for the wrap-up. Have a good one!

Timehop Tuesday

I got home and heard the horrible news out of Texas. As a teacher and a mom of kids in public school, I just can’t imagine. So I’m just working on gratitude for the sunshine and enjoying time with these two crazy creatures who I get the privilege of raising.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Hey everybody!  We had a nice weekend, but I didn't get too many pictures!  Yesterday morning I had a nice run and our lilacs have finally bloomed.

Chris and I had 2 40th birthday parties to go to- one was my friend Adrea's!  And I finally got to meet her sweet baby Hattie.

They girls had fun with Boom- including Punch Pizza!

This morning Callie did some mowing and Maya had her last gymnastics class until July.

Friends came over for a deck dinner!  And as you can see, we are getting work done on our back yard.  It will be awesome when it is done!

A Picture Update

Happy Friday Y'all!  We had a chill week enjoying the beautiful weather.  And the girls got new Crocs for the summer!

Maya and her BFF participated in the Science Fair and were one of the top 5 projects in 3rd grade!

And this afternoon Maya and Luna set up some office space in our trunk.  For doing who knows what?!

Timehop Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today I’m taking the opportunity to put my children in blast for never smiling nicely in my pictures any more (or VERY rarely).

Weekend Wrap-Up

Happy Sunday! It was a beautiful weekend here. We did the best we could to enjoy the sunshine and glorious temperatures. On Saturday morning I caught some sunrays during my run. 

While Cal was at dance, Maya and I walked to the library. 

We are getting our backyard finished up by professionals this month, so Luna enjoyed watching him out the window. Then we enjoyed outside time.


And we had our first DECK DINNER of the season!!!!!!!!! There was also some crazy yard games and softball. 

This morning our front tree was finally in full bloom and the girls enjoyed playing together doing “photo shoots” that apparently included cartwheels.

While Maya was at gymnastics, Cal and I walked to the library and then enjoyed some porch reading time.

Tonight we went to see the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” musical at Children’s Theater. It was a riot! Only Maya and I got a picture because Chris and Cal decided to go get candy instead.

A Picture Update

Hi all! Happy Lovely Friday!  

Here are the pics from the week (there aren’t too many):

There was a beautiful 6:30am sky earlier this week.

And then some severe weather on Wednesday night where we had to spend some time in the basement after bedtime but also watched it a bit (after the sirens turned off)!

Callie had a theater cast party at school where they watched the video of their Spongebob show and awards were given out. She won an award for Best Ensemble with her fellow sardines! And Maya and I enjoyed time on the deck.
