A Picture Update

Hey everybody!  Happy Friday! We had a pretty typical week.  The weather was really nice on Monday, so we took advantage of that.

Then it was crappy most of the rest of the week...but Maya won a monthly drawing at our dentist, so she and Chris went to pick up her prize...this HUGE bunny! It was quite a process to narrow down a name, but ultimately Biscuit the Bunny was chosen.

The girls were off today and Chris and I worked from home. After work we dyed eggs!

Spring in Minnesota is WILD!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Hey all.  Happy Sunday! We had a nice weekend.

Yesterday morning Chris and I were still up north.  It was finally clear out, so I got to see the beautiful sunrise over the lake during my early morning walk.

Then we got updates from Boom...the girls were doing great and the cousins and Auntie Yoda brought over donuts!

Chris and I ordered in breakfast and I finished my puzzle.  

We headed home, and continued to get amazing cousin photo updates on our way back!

We got all the girls back and enjoyed the rest of the day playing outside as much as we could!

The girls even came on a 2.5 mile run/bike ride with me. 

This morning Callie made herself bacon (and hash browns) for breakfast and Maya played quietly.  

Then we went to lunch with Auntie Hanna, Uncle Dan, Mitchell and Isla, and got to go meet Hanna's sister's family's chickens!

This afternoon has been quiet...and I'm mentally preparing for one more quarter of the school year.  We got this.

A Picture Update: A Snowy Spring Break

Hello! My spring break has flown by, as expected. Here are pics from the week!

The first half of the week: sunshine, Luna’s face and cooking!

Family time, a pedicure and more cute Luna.

On Wednesday night Chris and I headed north (into a slight snowstorm) past Two Harbors to Grand Superior Lodge. 

Yesterday morning I took a walk around the resort in the snow.

And came back to start a puzzle with hot coffee!

It snowed all day yesterday, but Gooseberry Falls was only 5 minutes up the road, so we ventured out for a pre-lunch hike.

We went to lunch at our favorite Two Harbors coffee shop, Cedar Coffee, and got delicious rice bowls.

The rest of the day was spent napping, swimming/hot tub/sauna time, take-out dinner, watching a terrible movie (Bubble on Netflix- do not recommend), and more puzzling (this time with wine!).

This morning I went on another walk. It was windy, but not snowing, and still a bit gray. But still lovely.

Chris and I went to breakfast in Two Harbors and then some sightseeing at Pebble Beach!

This afternoon we went to a movie and had the theater to ourselves (Spider-Man- highly recommend!) and then went for queso and a marg (for me).

And as you can see, the girls aren’t having any fun without us…

Weekend Wrap-Up

Hello! Happy Sunday! We had a pretty chill weekend. Yesterday morning I took Luna for a run and she wasn’t too happy about it (she has gotten CHUNKY). The we had fun outside with the somewhat okay weather. 

Then it was time for Lucy’s 5th birthday party!!! 

We introduced Lucy to LOL dolls, and one of them was hidden in a bath bomb…ha! 

The sunset was beautiful over downtown on our ride home.

Today was very chill. Relaxing, reading, and movie night!

A Picture Update

Happy April! Here are the pics for the week. The girls had spring break and enjoyed time with Boom, Mila, G-ma and Pa! And then there was some snow and Luna play time.

They also both worked on cleaning their rooms and Callie and I had fun on social media and texting.

I FINALLY made it to spring break! Wooooooohooooooo!!!
