As for today, I started it with a bright and lovely 6:30am run.
It was one of those mornings where the sun was glistening through the shades of our bedroom just begging me to come out and enjoy it. So I did.
After church, Lyndale Avenue was closed to cars, and there was a bunch of fun stuff going on. Like a petting zoo:
And then we saw the Sweet Gypsy waffle truck, which is owned by one of our favorite former Lynx players- Rebekah Brunson. We met her and got a delicious waffle and cold brew.
And then we walked the street and ended up with Kona Ice!
When we got home Maya really wanted to take the training wheels off her bike. So she tried it a few times and started to get the hang of it. And then got bored, so we had an epic outdoor dance party (see the video later).
She is not quite ready for biking on her own yet, but probably soon!
Then we headed over to Dan and Hanna’s for a first anniversary party! G-ma and Pa brought snowballs from their freezer.
And then the kids found an inch worm and it was very exciting.
We ate and talked and laughed and enjoyed the beautiful evening. The Gosselin/Libman peeps are SO fun.
