Weekend Wrap-Up

I really can't believe it is already the middle of summer.  It is amazing at how fast it is going, even though some days feel so long (i.e. days with a crabby toddler who only decides to take an hour long nap). Hee hee.  But most days are great and we have been having so much fun.

This weekend was no exception!

Friday
Callie wasn't feeling too great, so we spent the day with G-ma and Auntie Cat.  I had to wake her up from a nap so she would be able to fall asleep at night.  I actually got to cuddle with her for awhile!

G-pa and Chris came after work and we had a pizza dinner, followed by our new favorite treat- popsicles!

On our way home we stopped by the Johnsons because Boom, Bops and Yoda were there.  Bops got Lasik surgery that afternoon, so he was wearing some pretty sweet glasses.

Saturday
We went on a family outing to Como Zoo and Como Town.

After nap time, Callie got to go and see Baby Zinnia at G-ma and G-pa's house.  She was born in January and is the daughter of one of Auntie Cat and G-ma's work friends.

That night Chris had police reserve duty, so I took Callie to a Lynx game...we stayed for the first half anyway.  She got to see the mascot Prowl a little bit, so she was happy.

Sunday
We went to church this morning to see Boom play the flute.  Tonight we went and had a picnic with our goddaughter and her family.  Callie had a blast running around with Christine and Michael!
