Monday morning: The Daylight Savings change has taken a toll on this one this week. She doesn’t want to go to bed at night and doesn’t want to wake up in the morning!
Monday afternoon: It was light out and sunny after work (first time in FOREVER) so I thought it would be a great time to try my first outdoor run in months.
Many of you are probably (correctly) thinking to yourselves, “Kati, that sounds like a terrible idea because of all of the snow and ice.” And you would be correct. It was a disaster.
Tuesday evening: It was Reading Night at the girls’ school, so we went there for dinner and a variety of reading activities.
Wednesday evening: I got to see little Lucy for a bit after work...
...and then Mom, Laura and I went to see MICHELLE OBAMA!!!! Her book tour made a stop at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul and it was an amazing evening listening to her inspiring, genuine, thoughtful, and hilarious message of hope.
The rest of the week was pretty chill. So I’ll leave you with my thoughts on being 5 weeks in to half marathon training only almost exclusively the treadmill:
Have a great weekend! Everyone remember to wear green for Nana on St. Patty’s day on Sunday!
