Hi all! We are all home safe and sound from trips and very thankful all went well!
Today was a recovery day, sort of, and then Mitchell and Isla came over this afternoon!
Tonight my mom, sisters and I went out to dinner with my Uncle Jim and Aunt Coco and had a fabulous time…and had a fantastic waitress, who added herself to our family photo! ;)

Hello! I’m coming at you today just home from a whirlwind week with Chris in Colorado. Where are the girls, you ask? Come back tomorrow for their Quebec City adventures.
On early Monday morning we headed to the airport, hopped a flight to Denver, then drove 2 hours to Avon. About halfway there I had to stop for a work call, so why not stop at a Georgetown brewery? We got to the Westin resort in Avon and checked in to our beautiful (upgraded) room.
We did a little wandering down by the Eagle River and Chris did a little fishing.
I headed to the pool for a bit, and then we headed to dinner and then enjoyed the sunset view.
On Tuesday Chris headed out for his fly fishing day 1, while I headed to the pool, and then a walk around Avon.
We continued to enjoy views and went to dinner in town.
Chris fished again on Wednesday, and guess where I was?? I also did some treadmill time, a yoga class and water aerobics so I earned my relaxation. That afternoon we checked out and headed down to Denver, where we stayed with John and Jenny.
On Thursday we headed to Red Rocks and Golden!
We went out to dinner and to a comedy show with John and Jen.
It was such a lovely trip. And we are ready for the girls to come home so we can hear more about their adventures with Boom and G-ma!
It has been a very busy weekend, with dance recitals and Father’s Day and prepping for a big week next week!
Maya’s last Lake Harriet Dance Recital was wonderful and sad. Ms. Connie is retiring and we will miss her.
Luna and I enjoyed a quiet morning on the porch before Chris and the girls woke up.
He got a new t-shirt!
We spent the rest of the day busy around the house, and then went out to a rooftop dinner.
Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful men in our lives. We miss my dad today and everyday, but are grateful for the time we did have with him.

Hi all! It was a busy week! Maya helped out with almost all her cousins at Boom’s house on Monday.
Cal, Maya and Alex played games together on a rainy day while Luna’s face was cute and naughty.
It’s dance recital weekend! So Maya had dress rehearsal yesterday.
We have recitals tonight and tomorrow night. It’s the last ever Lake Harriet Dance recital, as Ms. Connie is retiring and the studio is closing. It will be so sad! But we are so grateful for all the fun memories and all the dancing we have done (and will continue to do time to do).

Well you guys. This is slowly turning into my own personal blog, which an or be very interesting, but teenage mom life is so different from toddler or elementary mom life. Like, I rarely see them! ðŸ˜ðŸ˜…
So here’s MY weekend in pictures. They were both busy either working or with Alex (Callie) or having 2 different friends over back to back days (Maya).
My mom, sisters and I went to a wine tasting on Saturday and it was DELIGHTFUL.
I spent today cleaning like crazy because I’m having 9 coworkers over for a deck dinner! The girls and Chris are off doing various things so I have had a quiet house and time to prep. I love summer!

Happy Friday! Week 1 of summer is done and as I was going through the pics I realized that I don’t have any of Cal, because she was usually off doing something…it’s a new phase.
But I started the week determined to find a porch goose. Don’t ask, just enjoy the photos of my journey. And meet Gertie.

Happy Sunday and happy summer! We had a lovely first weekend of summer vacation.
On Friday night Jenna and I went out to dinner and then a concert at The Fine Line downtown.
Yesterday was great- pretty relaxing (after an early 5 mile run).
Today Maya and I went to the open streets in Mpls and met up with Boom and then saw Mari and kids briefly!
Later Chris worked on Cat’s car so she and Maya got some volleyball in.
I have a goal this week to do some purging upstairs with the girls. Time to get rid of STUFF!!!
