A Picture Update
Happy Sunday everyone! It's ridiculously cold out, but we managed to have a nice weekend. Luna was just always around on couches yesterday (peeking at me by the treadmill in the basement, then tucked in by Maya in the living room). The dog lives her best life. Every day.
The big activity yesterday was Mila's birthday party!!! The highlight was her getting a homemade knitted scarf from Boom.
And then we had some fun with Snapchat filters...hahahahahaha...
And some play time, some long-armed tricks, a pizza dinner and then CAKE!
Today we stayed close to home. Pa came over for some soup (surprise surprise...this time it was creamy wild rice and ham) and a couple Lego Masters episodes. The girls did Lego building along with the show.

Well…last week my one and only photo was of Cal and Luna…and somehow this week my few photos are of Maya and Luna!
We played some games, goofed around with Luna, (Callie got a terrible head cold), and the sun actually shined a little bit!!

Weekend Wrap-Up
Hi all! Happy Sunday! We had a pretty chill weekend. Yesterday I met friends for breakfast, the girls relaxed most of the day, and I found a recipe for creamy cheesy chicken noodle soup, which turned more into bougie Mac & Cheese. Ha!
Today we met Auntie Hanna, Mitchell and Isla for a little bit of snow fun...and then playtime at our house.

A Picture Update
Happy Monday! It was a nice long weekend...the sky on Saturday morning was lovely.
After dance we met Boom for a treat and wandering the winter market at Bachman's. Later, Maya and I took Luna out for a very snowy trudge.
G-ma picked up the girls for the afternoon and Chris and I went to the T-wolves game that evening!
Yesterday morning we hung out around the house. I tried a new braid in Callie's hair and Maya did lots of note taking on her new Shark and Dinosaur books. Later we did some more snow mountain climbing, and then went over to the Dahlen's where I made another kind of SOUP!
This morning Auntie Cat came over to play some games...and then I kicked the girls out of the house in the afternoon to get some peace and quiet...;). The snow mounds behind our house are taller than our fence!

A Picture Update
Whew. Happy Friday! I didn’t take a picture this week until yesterday morning!
The big event of the week was celebrating G-ma’s birthday last night!
And we were all treated to quite the fashion show after ice cream and presents.
Tonight while Chris was making bacon, Callie did Maya’s hair.

Weekend Wrap-Up
Hi all! Happy chilly Sunday! We had a pretty relaxed weekend.
After dance we went to Boom’s house and went sledding with the cousins.
Later I made white chicken chili (I’m obsessed with soups!) and we had a movie night (Ghostbusters!).
Today was SO COLD but Luna and I persevered. Then Cal, Chris and I had a quiet morning when Pa took Maya to a narwhal exhibit!
Maya had gymnastics this afternoon.
And we went to have cousin time over at Uncle Dan, Auntie Hanna, Mitchell and Isla’s house!
Callie cut the pineapple for the yummy Hawaiian chicken dinner they made. And Maya was the lucky one to clean up Isla after her peanut butter and Nutella sandwich!
Then there was some bounce house chaos
Yesterday the sunrise was super cool…with some sort of ring around the sun.

A Picture Update
What a WILD WEEK! After a very weird week last week in-between holidays (what day is it? when did you last shower? GO PLAY WITH ALL YOUR CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND STOP FIGHTING, etc.), this week was even weirder.
In the afternoon we met Boom, Auntie Yoda, Lucy and Mila at Richardson Nature Center for outdoor play time and sledding!!!
It was a beautiful winter day.
I was supposed to go back to work on Tuesday, but an actual snow day was called (didn't have to work!), so we spent more time in the quickly accumulating snow. The snowbanks in the parking lots behind our house got SO TALL.
On Wednesday the girls were supposed to go back to school, but they ended up having an E-Learning day, and my school called an online day. So I got to stay home, but had to work, and the girls had just a few things to do. And of course...we went out in the snow.
Yesterday I had ANOTHER online day (working from home), so Luna was my work buddy. The girls headed back to school!
Today we were all back to our normal lives and schedules and it actually felt pretty great.
Monday was my last official day of winter break, so in the morning we put the Christmas stuff away (and I had to tear Santa Bear away from Luna's snuggles). In the evening we snuggled and watched Survivor, as per usual. We just LOVE Survivor, and the girls are so good at mapping out strategy and predicting what different player archetypes will do. It's hilarious and awesome to hear them talk about it.

Weekend Wrap-Up
Happy New Year!!!! Holy moly we are in 2023. Wild.
We had a good weekend...yesterday Pa met us for Brick Oven Bus pizza and a walk at the nature center.
And then the girls spent the night at Boom's house, so Chris and I went over to Jeremy and Jennifer's for games after their kids went to bed. We made it until 10:45pm...ha!
This morning I met Jenna and Bethany for an 8am New Years Day breakfast!
This afternoon the girls went to play outside in the snow and then Cal and I knitted and crocheted!
Then Uncle Dan, Auntie Hanna, Mitchell and Isla came over!
Have a good first week of the new year!
